The Vitrium series explores the paradox of movement within stillness.
Three translucent layers of subtractive color in cyan, magenta, and yellow are suspended inside a solid prism of resin. Each layer interacts optically with the others, generating infinite chromatic possibilities that unfold as you shift your position.
The name Vitrium recalls the idea of glass, a capsule, a vessel of perception where color and light are preserved yet remain alive through interaction. In this piece, the phenomenon of subtractive variability is no longer just observed on a surface; it becomes encased, spatial, and sculptural, transforming as the viewer moves.
